Forgiveness by Diana Dow. Forgiveness is such a critical component of healing. Knowing the forgiveness of God through the reconciling work of Jesus on the cross is the beginning of peace with God. For many we struggle with unforgiveness - of ourselves, others and God. Much has been written on the need for us to forgive if we are to receive the forgiveness of God.

What is Christian Counseling? by Dr. Bill Gillham. An insightful, perhaps provocative, article about what is and what is not a part of "Christian Counselling". (I believe it should be mandatory reading for all engaged in prayer ministry, and reminds me of many things that Colin Urquhart said in his Melbourne conference in 1993 - Mal Dow)

Tongues - making it happen! by Malcolm Dow. While exploring some of the relationships between prayer ministry and counselling I had an insight into some of our 'spiritual' practices of well-meaning Christian helpers - Mal Dow

Prayer Ministry - What is it? by John Andersen. This is a helpful description of the nature of prayer ministry, but it is also especially interesting to see how prayer ministry is viewed from the perspective of a experienced professional Christian counsellor - Mal Dow)

"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

2 Timothy 3:14-17 (NIV)
